The Right-of-Way Act

The Right-of-Way Act, Republic Act No. 10752, approved by the President on March 7, 2016. The law identifies the modes of acquiring real property for purposes of right-of-way (Sec. 4), sets the rules on negotiated sale (Sec. 5), provides the guidelines for expropriation proceedings (Sec. 6), and lists the standards for the assessment of the value of the property subject of negotiated sale (Sec. 7).
